Citizens from other countries can buy properties in Croatia receiving and fulfilling a form issued by the Ministry of the external affairs of the Republic of Croatia. The Ministry will allow to have a property only to citizens from countries with who the country of Croatia has signed a written international contract.
(U.S.A and U.K. is one of them as well as Italy and other European countries).
Taxes and interests of the agency:
All the prices on this web-site are w/o taxes and agency interests.
The countries taxes for the purchase transaction is 5% issued by the financial administration of the Republic of Croatia.
The agency interests is an agreement with the client and is negotiable. Agencies interest varies from 2% to 4% depending of the property chosen by the client.
Taxes of ownership for a vacation property is approximately $ 2 per m2 for year according to the national law.
